P.R.I.D.E. (Please Rid Illegal Dumping Entirely)

Assisted in securing a part-time Environmental Enforcement Officer to monitor and control illegal dumping.  Projects include cleaning up dump sites and providing assistance to residents wanting to dispose of junk cars and other items.

Eco Van

KMB began this project to fulfill their mission of educating the youth of our county.  The Eco Van is co-sponsored by McDowell County and the McDowell County School District.  Teachers request hands-on environmental science programs taught by a certified teacher.
